Senator Daylin Leach

State Senator Daylin Leach (D – Montgomery) leads the fight in Harrisburg  for victims of sexual assault.  His proposed legislation (SB 437)  would mandate that emergency rooms across the Commonwealth provide information to rape victims about Emergency Contraception, and administer EC if requested.  He has also introduced bills requiring insurance coverage for mammograms, requiring that prescription drugs plans covering male reproductive medicine (like Viagra) ALSO cover female reproductive medicine, and is the proud sponsor of Pennsylvania’s marriage equality bill.
